宮本明は彫刻や絵画、写真などを作るアーティストです。
“Each eye is unique. Each eye is an universe. Eye is a window that connects the internal world of the self to the external world.”
As a sculpture artist based in Kyoto, Japan, I always find it fascinating to explore the complexity of human beings and in particular how humans feel internally as well as externally.
I intend to make woodcut works that reflect upon such diverse human realities as we encounter in this world, and those insightful facets of humans as beings normally contain mysterious contradictions to be discovered.
